Jeanne Bineau-Ames Ed Tech

Stormy Dyer 4th Grade/ Social Studies Specialist

Mrs. Dyer has taught at Vinalhaven School for three years. The last two years she was an Ed Tech, and this year she is teaching fourth grade. She graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Mrs. Dyer is on the Social Studies and Math Curriculum teams. She is also the chair person for the Sports Done Right Committee.

Gloria Smith 5th Grade/ Science Specialist

Ms. Smith has taught for 10 years.  She graduated from University of Vermont with a B.S. Elementary Education. Ms. Smith is currently enrolled in the University of Maine's Education Leadership Cohort working to receive her Masters in Education.  She is the Elementary Team Leader and member of the Science Curriculum Team.

Alicia Watts K-5 Special Education

Heather White 3rd Grade/ ELA Specialist

Heather White has taught elementary school for 8 years. For the past 6 years she has loved teaching 3rd grade at the Vinalhaven School. She graduated in the spring of 2000 from Keene State College with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Heather has served on the Vinalhaven School Enrichment Committee as both a committee member, co-chair, and secretary. She is the English Language Arts specialist for the 3-4-5 team.
